The exhibition will be held as the opening event for the new alternative space Lurf MUSEUM in Daikanyama, Tokyo

The artist Yu Nagaba uses extremely simplified lines to draw people and various scenes.

He is also well known for his collaborative work with numerous fashion brands, including UNIQLO, and his solo exhibition 'Pink Nude' will be held from 10 June 2022 (Fri) as the opening event of the new alternative space Lurf MUSEUM in Daikanyama, Tokyo.

This solo exhibition is in conjunction with the launch of Nagba's new book 'Express More With Less', and will showcase works from the book, as well as Nagba's first new oil paintings.

The venue, Lurf MUSEUM, is a three-minute walk from Daikanyama Station. With a space of 230㎡ and a 4-metre-high ceiling, the venue is more than a gallery and less than a museum and will be a place where artists can express and experiment without any restrictions.

There will also be a cafe space with vintage Danish furniture from the 1930s, where visitors can relax while seeing art, as well as a shop where artists’ exhibition goods can be purchased.

During the exhibition, there will be a raffle for a book signing by the artist (limited to those who purchase the book by 26 June), and original merchandise will be also available to purchase.
