The collection comprises six items using photographs by Daido Moriyama and Takuma Nakahira, and poems by Takahiko Okada
OAMC will release a collection featuring work from the legendary Japanese photography magazine “PROVOKE”.
“PROVOKE" was published in Tokyo in 1968 by art critic Koji Taki, poet Takahiko Okada and photographers Daido Moriyama, Takuma Nakahira and Yutaka Takanashi, and has had an immense impact on the world of photography by examining the social and political situation in Japan with its innovative style.
The collection features six pieces, featuring works by photographer Daido Moriyama, photographer and critic Takuma Nakahira and Takahiko Okada. The OAMC and PROVOKE logos are printed and a jacquard label with the OAMC logo is placed on the front of each style.
It's an unexpected and timeless collaboration but reaffirms that the expressions from that time still have power and influence even today.
It will be available in limited quantities on oamc.com on 14 July at 10:00 in Japan time.
