Inspired by Showa-era artist Kenji Suzuki's work depicting working-class people
Sasquatchfabrix. has unveiled its look images for Autumn/Winter 2022 with the title 'Value The Working Class'.
For this season, the brand focuses on Kenji Suzuki, a Showa-era artist who also worked as a printmaker, sculptor and cartoonist, and has created a 'work style' with a touch of Sasquatchfabrix.
Born in Tochigi, Suzuki continued to draw on people living in the countryside and urban labourers throughout his life. His works evoke the vitality of these workers, who live modestly despite being tossed about by hardship of the time.
Also, designer Daisuke Yokoyama has reflected his questions about today's working environment and the economic inequality caused by the social system of capitalism in the current collection.
